Snowcones, beisbol and more

Dozens of young Huntington Ridge residents turned out Tuesday for activities directed by a team from Daphne, Alabama. The visitors will minister in the apartment complex through Thursday.

A family from Bonifay, Florida, has a unique and popular ministry – making and serving snowcones from the back of a pickup truck. They have many flavors to choose from -- a peach colada is hard to beat on a Hot‘lanta afternoon!

Youngsters line up to take a swing at a whiffle ball and race around the bases after they hit it.

Miguel gets some tips from first base coach Cathy. Her advice: Run!

Youngsters make bookmarks for their craft project. All activities took place on the Huntington Ridge soccer court.

The team from Alabama acted out the story of the good Samaritan. Children watched, listened and learned that the injured man’s neighbor was the one who showed him mercy.
